St. James, Apostle

Patron Saint of Spain

St. James is the brother of St. John the Evangelist. Jesus called these two brothers when they were fishing in the Sea of Galilee. James witnessed Jesus’ Transfiguration, the raising to life of the daughter of Jairus, and the agony in Gethsemani.
