St. Apollinaris

St. Apollinaris was the first bishop of Ravenna, Italy. He was exiled twice from the city because his preaching was so compelling that the pagans became anxious and forced him out of the city. St. Apollinaris spent some time preaching outside the city before he returned. Unfortunately when he returned, he was tortured badly and then exiled to Greece. In Greece, he was exiled again for the same crime and sent back to Italy where he was tortured to death.
