St. Gaspar del Bufalo

St. Gaspar del Bufalo was a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Rome in the early 1800's. After the Napoleonic War ended, del Bufalo founded the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in 1815. With his band of missionaries, he preached the merits of the Precious Blood to his fellow Italians. Though his order faced many challenges in their early days, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood worked tirelessly in re-evangelizing the Italian people. St. Gaspar was also friends with St. Vincent Pallotti, with Pallotti ministering to de Bufalo on his deathbed.

"Let us do great work for the Glory of God and let us become saints." St. Gaspar del Bufalo
