St. Anthony Zaccaria

Patron Saint of Physicians and the Barnabite Order

St. Anthony Zaccaria was an Italian physician and priest from Milan. He mainly worked in hospitals and institutions of the poor. During his lifetime he founded three religious orders for priest, religious, and lay people. The most famous of these orders being The Clerics Regular of St. Paul otherwise known as the Barnabites. He is the patron saint of physicians.
