Most Holy Trinity

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity occurs on the Sunday after Pentecost. It was officially established by Pope John XXII in the 1300s, but had been recognized by members of the Church for centuries. The feast day celebrates the central mystery of our faith, the three persons in one God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
