Guardian Angels

The “Celestial Bodyguard” or, the Guardian Angels, are angels who intercede for us and remain at our sides from birth until death. Like the rest of the angels, they are creatures of God. They cannot be equated with God or adored as if they were God. Like the saints, Guardian Angels are venerated. Their feast was approved by Pope Leo X in 1518. "He has given his angels orders to keep you in your ways." (Ps 97:11)
